Great food and delightful atmosphere! Not easy to get to unless you're at TopSail beach. A drive off the main road
Service was great and reservations were easy to schedule. We were seated right on time when we arrived!
We made a reservation due to our larger party size, our server was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious however the portion sizes were on the smaller size and pricy. We ordered raw oysters, caesar salad, milk bread, and Carolina smoked trout dip to start. The size of the oysters were small, the hot sauce and the watermelon salsa they served with it was good. We were told the Caesar salad can comfortably be split between 2-3 people, it is definitely for one person. The milk bread was just bread don't understand why you charge $11 for it. The Trout dip was the best. Myself and two others ordered the beef short ribs with polenta, I enjoyed mine, the meat was tender and flavorful. One of the individuals in my party had to send their short ribs back as the cut of meat was primarily all fat and almost gelatine like. Others enjoyed the Shrimp and Grits, crab cakes, scallops. But we did leave here feeling hungry. Not to mention a cocktail costs $20 which I never thought I'd ever end up spending. The passionate love affair cocktail was a hit amongst the table. The dining area was pretty dimly lit
We went to the Beach Shop on a windy Sat after the 4th. We (all 3) agreed the meal was a 10 of 10,...simply spectacular. We had the trout dip and a tuna poke to share, then I had the Gambas al Pil Pil which was a perfect meal for me, and Sarah and Lynn both had the BLT which they both loved. It was just a delightful lunch. Will be going again.
Came back again 2 years later from my first review and safe to say this place hits the mark time and time again! Service was prompt and excellent, we enjoyed an array of dishes and had an excellent meal. The scallops were cooked to perfection, the fish special was seasoned amazingly. Everything here is spot on!
My family came here for Easter brunch. We were able to make reservations which was nice to not worry about the wait and enjoy our day. Inside decor is really nice and the outside patio even better. Outdoor bar, live greenery wall and beautiful seating area. Definitely wish we could have ate outside but wasn't offered and noticed on our way out. Small shop next door is also really cute! The staff were super friendly and it seemed like they all helped one another out. Our waitress was fantastic! My parents loved their pressed coffee, kids enjoyed Shirley temples and I had a tasty mimosa - yum! For meals the kids have Mac n cheese. It was not your normal Mac. I'd eat it! My dad and I enjoyed the chicken and waffles. Perfect Savory and Sweet combo! No pics but I'd have to say this is the best place on the island. Try it I swear!
